Topic: International Trade

LEARN ABOUT U.S. GOVERNMENT TOOLS THAT CAN BOOST YOUR ACCESS TO FOREIGN MARKETS According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, 96 percent of the world’s customers reside outside the United States. In fact, most of the companies in the United States do not think of foreign markets nor that sales opportunities abroad are possible for them. Miami businesses have the advantage of being located in a trade and logistics hub that is also the gateway to the Americas. This workshop will provide you with the information on resources available to Miami businesses that are either already doing business abroad or are interested in going global. In particular, the event will discuss: •U.S. Small Business Administration Lending Programs •The role of trade credit insurance in supporting export growth •Local small business programs to promote exports •How new tax laws are affecting U.S. exporters
