5:30-7:00pm: International Marketing: In this seminar, learn how to develop a Product-Market Profile and an Export Marketing Plan. Mike will discuss what is and is not international marketing, marketing mix decisions and elements of an effective marketing plan. Presented by Mike Poliquin, MBA, Adjunct Faculty at St. Pete College and Owner, E4 Tactical Development, LLC. Mike has been teaching marketing courses for more than 20 years. His vast knowledge encompasses sales, management, hospitality, tourism and international marketing, and he enjoys sharing his business experiences. 7:00-8:30pm: Market Research: In this seminar, learn about the Harmonized System for product classification, trade flow data, and sources of information for finding markets with the greatest potential for sales. Selma will share the indicator spreadsheet she uses to analyze and rank data gathered from the market research. Presented by Selma Canas, CGBP, Florida SBDC at USF. As one of the international trade specialists at the Florida SBDC Network, Selma is responsible for consulting, training and developing export marketing plans for small and medium sized enterprises. Selma has developed over 22 plans during the past four years and has participated in trade missions to Brazil, Chile, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.
