6-7:30pm: Intellectual Property Rights, In this seminar, learn about different types of intellectual property (IP), as well as the requirements and complexities of patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade dress, and more. Susie will teach attendees not only how to protect and defend their IP but also how to increase profitability and competitive positioning. Presented by Susie Hoeller, CGBP, Principal Attorney, Hoeller Law Firm. Susie has been practicing domestic and international law for more than 30 years and has been the principal attorney at her firm, Hoeller Law for the past 10 years. 7:30-8:30pm: Supply Chain Management, In this seminar, learn about supply chain management (SCM) through the entire process from source to customer. Discussions include entering the global supply chain, using intermediaries, pitfalls, and supply chain management trends. Presented by Dr. Donna Davis, Ph.D, Professor & Chair, USF. Dr. Davis is a professor of marketing, chair of the Marketing Department, and co-director of USF's Center for Supply Chain Management and Sustainability.
