The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of HR processes affecting small businesses. The workshop will outline the employment life-cycle from assessing the need for hiring to effectively managing employees. This practical workshop will cover basic HR “must-haves” in addition to tools and best practices for small business owners. Specific topics include recruiting, legal aspects, employee vs. independent contractor and employee classification. This workshop will equip small business owners with information and resources and prepare them for optimal employee management success.
