Cybersecurity Basics for Small Business

Thu 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Topic: Cybersecurity

Introduction of the Florida SBDC Network Byte-Size Program: Cybersecurity is a major concern for small businesses given the extensive role that technology has in today's marketplace. Small businesses are extremely vulnerable to malicious cyber attacks due in part to the fact that small business owners do not understand the risk. Many small business owners believe they are immune from malicious interest simply because they can't imagine they have data worth stealing. This puts small business owners in a precarious position regarding cybersecurity. Cybersecurity Basics for Small Business Workshops -- The Florida SBDC is offering a series of workshops at no cost covering four topics: basic cybersecurity threats to small businesses, security, remediation and cybersecurity resources. We strongly encourage you to participate in an in-person workshop to better understand the material and strategies to protect your business.
